The University of Law provides law and business courses for postgraduates.
The university can trace its origins back to 1876, and as such, is one of the most long-standing legal educators. It received university status in 2012 and opened its Business School in 2016. The university has 15 campuses across the UK, all based in thriving business areas. In 2016, it opened its GISMA Business School in Berlin, and then in 2019 it established its campus in Hong Kong. The university also offers many of its postgraduate courses online.
Students can change campus location whilst studying with The University of Law by using CampuSwitch, including switching between learning on campus and online. Additionally, students studying the Business School master’s programmes can take up the Global Rotation offer, and study part of their course at the GISMA campus in Berlin.
The University of Law has several successful and high-flying alumni including the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.
Postgraduate
Postgraduate courses at The University of Law are focussed on ensuring that students get the skills (as well as the qualifications) to succeed in their career after they graduate. The university is so confident in this, that they offer graduates of their Legal Practice Course an LPC Employability Promise; if students don’t have a job 9 months after graduating they can apply to get their fees returned to them (50% as cash, and the other 50% can be put towards studying another course with the university)*.
The careers support and advice given to students, both whilst studying and after graduating, means that they always have access to the guidance and information needed to help them develop a strong career.
The fact that there’s the option to learn online, or to change campus location, means that the university is very flexible with how, when and where postgraduate students study.
