There are four faculties at the University of East Anglia, all of which offer a wide range of postgraduate programmes. Each faculty is made up of schools and research groups. The four faculties are:

Taught students are prepared for global careers in both academia and industry through an array of placements and training programmes, in conjunction with real-world experience and contact with professionals. They benefit from the innovative teaching of academics involved in ground-breaking research and the university supports an interdisciplinary approach to learning throughout its teaching.
Research students are supervised by academics who are leaders in their fields. UEA postgraduate researchers are assigned two academic supervisors for the duration of their studies. In addition to providing them with support and guidance throughout their studies, supervisors help students collaborate on wider research projects and gain invaluable academic experience. Research students benefit from opportunities to integrate their studies into the work of active research teams at UEA, who are conducting leading research into many of the most significant global challenges facing society today.
