The Student Village is based on the Docklands campus, and is well connected with transport links to the Stratford campus and London’s city centre.
A standard single occupancy room in the west halls cost £5702 for the full academic year, housing four to five students in total. Standard east halls cost £6480 per year, with flats housing between five and seven students.
For more space and privacy, students can rent a studio flat which will cost £7402. All standard rooms are ensuite with a shared kitchen/dining area.
There are also several premium options in both the east and west halls, including a premium enhanced flat offering more study space and a large dock facing kitchen. This costs £6991 per academic year and houses just four students in total. Other premium halls come with large kitchens and social areas complete with sofas and a TV, with the overall price of £7018 including a TV license.
Wheelchair accessible accommodation is also available with the potential to further adapt the rooms according to individual needs.
Facilities
The Docklands campus sits in the picturesque setting of the Royal Albert Dock, overlooking the water. It features modern lecture theatres and seminar rooms, a 24/7 library, learning centre and a multimedia production centre complete with audio and visual studios.
Plus, there is the £21 million SportsDock offering a fitness centre, courts, dance studios and live exercise classes. In fact, it is so well-equipped that it has been used as the training headquarters for Team USA.
The Stratford Campus is particularly well connected to the rest of London and close to the busy town centre of Stratford. Facilities include a library and learning centre, laboratories, restaurant, bookshop and student union cafe and bar.
The University Square Stratford campus is the base for students studying criminology, law, performing arts and dance and MBA programmes. It boasts a simulated courtroom for mooting, a 300-seat lecture theatre, performing arts spaces and three performance studios.
University of East London
