Law

96% of students said they were satisfied with the teaching of law at UEL (2014 Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey). Lectures are recorded, available as podcasts and many classes are taught in the evenings for flexible learning. Plus, 99% of law research at UEL is considered to be of ‘international quality’ (REF 2014). Optional placement years are also available to gain real work experience.

Architecture

The department is award-winning and internationally recognised. In 2014, a UEL student was the only student representative elected to the Royal Institute of British Architects Council and lecturers at UEL were part of a group who won the 2015 Turner Prize. Three graduates also won the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize - Britain's biggest architecture accolade.

Psychology

UEL is one of four universities in the UK whose psychology research had an impact of 100% (REF 2014).
