Application details
The Aberystwyth Sanctuary Scholarship is open to those who do not have access to student finance and hold one of the following immigration status in the UK:
You are an asylum seeker; or
You have been granted discretionary or Humanitarian Protection leave to enter or remain (with forced migration background); or
You are the partner/dependent of an asylum seeker/discretionary/Humanitarian Protection leave to enter or remain (with forced migration background).
AND
You have received a conditional or unconditional offer from Aberystwyth University to study a full-time undergraduate degree or International Foundation Certificate or postgraduate taught masters course.
You can provide a reference in support of your application from an organisation such as a school, college, community or voluntary group.
You have submitted an application to Aberystwyth University’s Sanctuary Scholarship by the deadline.
The scholarship is for Year 1 entry of an undergraduate degree course at Aberystwyth University or International Foundation Certificate or to commence a postgraduate taught course. The scholarship cannot be used for any externally funded courses that are more than 4 years in duration (e.g. Veterinary Sciences). The scholarship can only be used for full-time study.
